Here is what you can expect from The Masters Carpet Cleaning:
1) PRE-INSPECTION
There will be a careful pre-inspection of all areas to be cleaned by
an IICRC Certified Carpet Cleaner. During the pre-inspection you
will learn what type of fiber your carpet is made from. Areas that
have installation deficiencies or problems that may not respond
to cleaning will also be brought to your attention.
2) PRE-VACUUMING
If you are unable to vacuum prior to our arrival, and if necessary,
THE MASTERS will provide a thorough and complete vacuuming
(for a small additional charge) with your vacuum or our powerful
commercial vacuum. Because up to 75% of the soil in your
carpet is dry soil, (Dust, Sand, Hair, Pet Dander, etc.) this step is
essential. THE MASTERS first removes the maximum amount of
dry soil. This makes the overall cleaning process achieve much
greater results.
3) PRE-TREATMENT
The carpet is then pre-sprayed with a mild, but effective
emulsifier. It begins to loosen soils and suspend them for the next
step, our clear water rinse.
4) CLEAR-WATER RINSE
Immediately after the emulsifier application, your carpet is
extraction-rinsed. This is done with water, that is treated on our
truck that contains no detergents. The water temperature is over
200 degrees! The water is introduced into the carpet with a gentle
spray and then vacuumed back out a split second later by means
of a special cleaning tool. The combination of very hot water and
the extremely powerful vacuum means that your carpet will dry
quickly (usually about 4—8 hours) and be free of any type of
residue that might cause it to re-soil prematurely.

5) ATTENTION TO SPECIAL CONCERNS
Most spots are removed with out any problems. However stains
from such things as pet urine or red beverage dyes may need to
be addressed using special products and procedures. In some
cases there could be an additional charge. THE MASTERS does
not guarantee complete removal of such stains, although, in most
cases, a substantial improvement is seen.
6) FURNITURE MOVING
If you want just your traffic areas cleaned no furniture will be
moved. However if you wish, for an additional charge, we will
move most furniture, clean under it and put it back in its original
location during the cleaning process.
Protective plastic squares or foam blocks will be placed under the
legs of furniture to prevent staining of freshly cleaned carpet.
(Beds, dressers, china hutches, televisions, entertainment
centers and pianos) will not be moved.
7) CARPET PROTECTOR
If desired, THE MASTERS will apply a high quality carpet
protectant to help your carpet resist food and beverage spills and
stay clean longer. There is a small additional cost for this product.
8) FAST DRYING TIME
In most cases, your carpets should be dry within 4 to 8 hours.
The total time necessary for drying is determined by the amount
of humidity and airflow in the rooms or house. If you have ceiling
fans in your rooms we will ask permission to turn them on to help
speed drying. In the winter turning up the heat helps and in the
summer turning on the air conditioning helps the drying process.
9) POST-CLEANING INSPECTION
After cleaning is completed, you will be asked to look at the areas
cleaned and let us know if everything has been done to your
complete satisfaction. We will be happy to go over any areas that
you would like us to, a second time, at no extra cost.
10) MONEY BACK GUARANTEE
If you are not completely satisfied with the results of our cleaning,
simply call us within 7 days of cleaning. We will re-clean the areas
in question at no charge to you. If this does not resolve the
